            If Wayne was feeling good  fresh off their  12-2 takedown of Twin River on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils came up short against  Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy on Saturday, falling  13-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Blue Devils have suffered  since May 11, 2024.
  Parker Patefield was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season.  Calvin Ankeny was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
