Basketball Recap: Wellington Takes a Loss

Wellington lost against Western Reserve back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wellington Dukes took a 61-46 bruising from the Western Reserve Roughriders. The Dukes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wellington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Western Reserve, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellington will challenge Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Reserve, they will face off against Monroeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
