Basketball Recap: Passaic County Tech Takes a Loss

Passaic County Tech lost against Wayne Valley back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Passaic County Tech Bulldogs took a blow against the Wayne Valley Indians, falling 66-23.

Wayne Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zachary Derstine, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 15 points. The dominant performance also gave Derstine a new career-high in blocks (two). Luke Rubino was another key player, going 6 for 14 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds.

Passaic County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Passaic County Tech will host Ridgewood at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wayne Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Clifton at 1:00 p.m.
