St. Francis won the last time they faced Nazareth Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Roadrunners. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Mackenzie Krzus paced St. Francis' offense, picking up eight kills. Krzus got some help from Holly Muisenga and her 13 assists. Finally, Maria Bukowski kept St. Francis' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Nazareth Academy, they moved to 13-15 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

St. Francis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Yorkville on the 18th. As for Nazareth Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Marist on the 18th.
