Basketball Recap: Three Rivers Comes Up Short

Three Rivers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws and fell 62-24. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1488th, while the Indians/Squaws are ranked 619th).

Three Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Jourdanton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Nordheim the next time they take the court. Jourdanton will head out to face Nordheim at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, while Three Rivers will play them later in the day, at 8:15 a.m.
