Volleyball Recap: Dunbar's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After losing to Wells the last time they met, Dunbar decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mightymen had just enough and edged out the Raiders 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mightymen as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Dunbar who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-27, 25-20.

Dunbar's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Wells, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Dunbar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Instituto Health Sciences on the 23rd. As for Wells, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Chicago Mathematics & Science on the 23rd.
