It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Noble can now relate to. They took a blow against the New Palestine Dragons on Friday, falling 56-26. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this match were averaging 13.33 points allowed.

East Noble lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rylee Biddle, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Logan Hatton, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Josh Ranes and Caden Jacobia. Ranes rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns while Jacobia rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave Jacobia a new career-high in rushing yards.

With the loss, East Noble broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-2. As for New Palestine, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 14-0-1.
