Preview: Harford Tech Cobras vs. Patterson Mill
The Harford Tech Cobras will head out on the road to face off against Patterson Mill at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
Last Thursday, it was a hard-fought game, but Harford Tech had to settle for a 33-30 loss against North Harford.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jordan Strang, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Jessica Castro, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Patterson Mill blew past Elkton, posting a 49-11 victory on the road.
Kiley Wilhelm was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Patterson Mill's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazmyne Jordan, who scored 7 points along with 4 steals.
Harford Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Patterson Mill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Harford Tech beat Patterson Mill 47-39 when the teams last played back in January. Will Harford Tech repeat their success, or does Patterson Mill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
