Volleyball Recap: Aspen Has No Trouble Against Cedaredge

Aspen won the last time they faced Cedaredge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Skiers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bruins. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Skiers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Aspen was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-6.

Andrea Lee paced Aspen's offense, picking up 16 kills. Lee got some help from Belle Sinclair and her 18 assists. Sinclair was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Aspen's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cedaredge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coming up, Aspen will head out on the road to challenge Basalt at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedaredge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Montezuma-Cortez on the 20th.
