Football Recap: Summit Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Summit Christian Academy lost against Fairland back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles were dealt a 67-6 loss at the hands of the Owls. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-6.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Gordon Fuller, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Summit Christian Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Fairland, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Summit Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-7 defeat against Ketchum on the 7th. As for Fairland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 53-14 victory against Woodland on the 7th.
