After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perryville, Danville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 34-20. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Little Johns considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

Brody Speers and Peyton Mills certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Speers picked up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Mills threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns. Speers was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 52 yards.
