Basketball Recap: Anna's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Anna entered their game against Fort Loramie on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Anna Rockets lost to the Fort Loramie Redskins at home by a 45-30 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-28 back in December of 2024.

Anna's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Fort Loramie, their win was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Anna and Fort Loramie should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Anna will face off against Greenon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 186 places (179 vs. 365). Similarly, Fort Loramie (ranked 33rd) will meet Botkins (ranked 418th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
