Soccer Recap: North Comes Up Short

If North was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of McClintock last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Mustangs fell 4-2 to the Copper Canyon Aztecs on Monday.

North's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Copper Canyon, they pushed their record up to 8-4-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

North wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against North Canyon on the 29th. As for Copper Canyon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Glendale on the 29th.
