Crescent's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Belton-Honea Path Bears by a score of 3-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Crescent had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-11, 25-17.

Crescent's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Belton-Honea Path, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent will challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pendleton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
