Volleyball Recap: South Hills Scorpions vs. Polytechnic Parrots
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paschal, South Hills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Polytechnic Parrots. The Scorpions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Parrots, too.
South Hills wouldn't go down easily and took Polytechnic into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 21-25, 15-11.
South Hills' win bumped their record up to 6-30. As for Polytechnic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Trimble Tech the next time they take the court. Polytechnic will host Trimble Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while South Hills will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
