Crittenden County is a perfect 3-0 against Heritage Christian Academy since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rockets are taking a road trip to challenge the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Crittenden County will be strutting in after a win while Heritage Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Crittenden County let Mayfield stack four runs on them in the fifth inning on Thursday but luckily Crittenden County prevailed anyway. The Rockets came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 8-4. Surprisingly, this marked the Rockets' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The team relied heavily on Quinn Summers, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Cameron Nesbitt also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Community Christian.

Heritage Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Outland, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Crittenden County, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.

Heritage Christian Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Crittenden County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433. It's a different story for Heritage Christian Academy, though, as they've only averaged .336. Will they be able to contain Crittenden County's hitters?

Crittenden County was able to grind out a solid win over Heritage Christian Academy when the teams last played back in March, winning 8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
