Basketball Game Preview: East Tartans vs. Green Bobcats

East hasn't had much luck against Green recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

East is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Symmes Valley last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. East was dealt a 76-38 defeat at the hands of Symmes Valley. The Tartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-23.

Meanwhile, Green ended up a good deal behind Oak Hill last Friday and lost 59-42. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Oaks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

East's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Green, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

East came up short against Green in their previous matchup back in January, falling 52-42. Can East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
