Basketball Recap: Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Benson last Tuesday, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City came back down to earth. The Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons took a 67-51 bruising from the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-48 back in January.

Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-46 loss against MACCRAY on the 17th. As for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-32 defeat against Royalton on the 18th.
