Recap: Grace Christian Academy Lions vs. Calistoga Wildcats
It was a good run, but the Grace Christian Academy Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 79-39 defeat at the hands of Calistoga. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grace Christian Academy has scored all season.
Diego Perez was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds for Calistoga. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perez has scored all season. Oreo Infante was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5. As for Calistoga, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Technology at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Technology is ranked 1201st, while Grace Christian Academy is ranked 1208th). As for Calistoga, they will head out on the road to take on Buckingham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Buckingham Charter will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
