Soccer Recap: Butler Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rocky River last Tuesday, Butler came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Charlotte Catholic Cougars on Thursday. Butler haven't had much luck with Charlotte Catholic recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Butler's goal came courtesy of Macie Brabson, who's now up to two this season.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-2. As for Charlotte Catholic, they pushed their record up to 14-0-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Butler and Charlotte Catholic will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bulldogs see the pitch they'll take on Queen's Grant at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Charlotte Catholic, their break will end when they face Providence at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
