Volleyball Recap: Juab Comes Up Short

After flying high against Summit Academy last Thursday, Juab came back down to earth. The Wasps fell just short of the Carbon Dinos by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Wasps were not able to make up for their loss to the Dinos from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Juab took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 17-15.

Carbon found their leader in sophomore Laycie Gregersen, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Juab's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Juab has already played their next matchup (against Millard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Carbon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Juan Diego Catholic on the 14th.
