Volleyball Recap: Laney Chilton and Olivia Hamm Secure Win for Bentonville West

There's no place like home for Bentonville West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Springdale Bulldogs on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-14.

Bentonville West was led to victory by Olivia Hamm and Laney Chilton. Hamm had five digs and two aces, while Chilton had eight digs and four aces. Hamm is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Bentonville West was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Bentonville West's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Springdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17-1 record this season.
