Softball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland fell victim to Pocahontas and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Redskins, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost six in a row.

Highland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tearany Midkiff, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Pocahontas, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

While Highland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
