Holy Family (Broomfield, Colo.) snapped the four-game winning streak of
Frederick (Colo.), with a 39-28 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tigers led 34-13 at the half.
Holy Family saw its 21-point halftime lead fall to 14 entering the fourth.
Mike Lamb, who passed for four touchdowns, was a key player for the Warriors during the defeat.
Frederick came in surrendering 17.0 points per game this season. FHS struggled against Holy Family's offense, which entered the game scoring 28.7 points per game.
The Broomfield school got revenge for last year's 21-7 loss to the Warriors with the victory.
The loss comes after Frederick defeated Centaurus 28-14 last week. With the win the Tigers extended their winning streak to four games.
Holy Family (6-1) will play a 3A Northern game against Centaurus next week, while Frederick (4-3) will take on Denver North also in a 3A Northern game.
