Soccer Recap: Trinity Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Trinity was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Poteet Pirates could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Trinity's draw gives them a new season record of 1-0-1. As for Poteet, they moved theirs to 1-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against Southlake Carroll at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poteet, they will take on Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Poteet's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
