David Angulo gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March of 2025 on Monday. He was dynamite, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Angulo's effort led Maywood CES over Marquez and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.
