Softball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Cedarville Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Monday.

Catholic Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla McClendon, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Cedarville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic Central will welcome West Liberty-Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedarville, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Carroll at 5:00 p.m.
