South Williamsport took down Warrior Run 53-19 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Sayre made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,099 from 10,557. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-12 victory over Cowanesque Valley last week.
Canton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. John Bowman threw for 74 yards and Wes Moore had 42 yards receiving. On the ground Tim Bassett chipped in 63 yards. Eddy Larcom helped Canton's passing attack out by catching two balls for 32 yards.
Canton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bowman has thrown for 248 yards and one touchdown this season, while Bassett has eight catches for 91 yards. Tyler Cole leads the league in rushing with 224 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Redskins take on the Warriors. Sayre is in second place, while Canton is in fourth place.
The Mountaineers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on the Defenders.
