Baseball Recap: West Carteret Wins Going Away Against White Oak

West Carteret won the last time they faced White Oak and things went their way on Monday too. The Patriots blew past the Vikings 11-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Josh Johnson was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Austin Motley was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

West Carteret was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as White Oak only posted a batting average of .118.

West Carteret's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for White Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

West Carteret wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Richlands on the 29th. As for White Oak, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 loss against Dixon on the 29th.
