Softball Recap: Regis Comes Up Short

Regis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-3 to the Thorp Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 two weeks ago.

Jacelin Jensen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Regis' record is now 6-14. As for Thorp, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Regis will be taking part in a tournament against Pepin/Alma at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Thorp, they will welcome McDonell Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
