Recap: Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties vs. Achievement First Providence Falcons
On Tuesday, Mount St. Charles Academy took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 59-32 victory over Achievement First Providence. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-11.
Achievement First Providence lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Fred Browne, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joshia Dickson, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Mount St. Charles Academy's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Achievement First Providence, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Mount St. Charles Academy will be playing at home against Ponaganset at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Achievement First Providence, they will head out on the road to face off against Highlander Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
