Baseball Recap: Fort Chiswell Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Fort Chiswell entered their tilt with Galax on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Maroon Tide 12-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-2 back in April.

Fort Chiswell's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Galax, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
