Softball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport lost against Buckhannon-Upshur back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 9-8.

Bridgeport has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bridgeport is set to square off against their familiar foe East Fairmont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Buckhannon-Upshur will face off against rival Lewis County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
