Basketball Recap: Midview Comes Up Short

Midview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Berea-Midpark Titans and fell 67-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Middies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-26 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Midview still got an impressive performance from Leah DiFranco, who went 6 for 14 en route to 15 points and eight boards. The match was DiFranco's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Midview's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Berea-Midpark, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Midview will square off against North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berea-Midpark, they will challenge Avon Lake at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Avon Lake will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Berea-Midpark surely won't give up without a fight.
