Basketball Recap: Lewiston Takes a Loss

Lewiston lost against Timberlake back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lewiston Bengals took a blow against the Timberlake Tigers, falling 57-24. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Tigers are ranked seventh).

Lewiston now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Timberlake, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Lewiston will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Moscow on January 14, 2025. Timberlake and North Central will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th.
