Volleyball Recap: Burlingame Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Sequoia came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Burlingame, but Sam Hollrah wouldn't allow it. The Panthers put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Hollrah, who had 14 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-14.

Burlingame has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Sequoia, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burlingame will face off against rival Carlmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sequoia is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
