            Baseball Recap: Lena-Winslow Panthers vs. Stillman Valley Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Lena-Winslow had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Stillman Valley Cardinals by a score of  8-5  on Tuesday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the   12-1 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in March of 2024.

 Luke Madigan made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Aiden Wild was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Four bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of  Khayne Albright, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
Stillman Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. As for Stillman Valley, they will take on Galena at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
