Jerek Hoover Game Report: vs Sayre + How To Watch

For the first time in his career, Jerek Hoover scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for nine yards and one TD as Holy Cross fell to Sayre 34-20. We think that's the best game he's posted since September 20th, 2024, when he threw for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes.

Looking ahead, Hoover and Holy Cross will head out on the road to face off against Kentucky Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Hoover up against the Bearcats' star quarterback Caden Long. It's not every day two stars like this collide on the field. So who leaves it the victor?
