Basketball Recap: Jay Takes a Loss

Jay lost against Sequoyah back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jay Bulldogs came up short against the Sequoyah Eagles, falling 71-48. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Eagles are ranked 25th).

Jay dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Sequoyah, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.

Jay has already played their next match (against Kansas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sequoyah, they will host Adair at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
