Soccer Recap: Sharyland Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Sharyland has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the McAllen Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Sharyland's record now sits at 13-6. As for McAllen, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Sharyland will venture away from home to square off against Rowe at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. McAllen will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pioneer at 6:00 p.m. on February 28th.
