Football Game Preview: Washington Warriors vs. Waterloo East Trojans

The Washington Warriors will head out to square off against the Waterloo East Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Washington and 11 for Waterloo East dating back to last season.

On Friday, Washington came up short against Mason City and fell 29-20.

Meanwhile, Waterloo East had to suffer through a 56-7 loss at the hands of Waverly-Shell Rock.

Waterloo East's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Washington against Waterloo East in their previous meeting back in October of 2017, as the team secured a 69-20 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
