Baseball Recap: Clovis West Takes a Loss

Clovis West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clovis North Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-3 defeat on Wednesday.

Clovis West saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Clovis West's loss dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Clovis North, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

As of now, neither Clovis West nor the Broncos have any future games scheduled.
