Softball Recap: Hauser Falls Short of Milan in the Playoffs

Hauser and Milan squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hauser had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Jets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hauser saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haylin Campbell, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

With the loss, Hauser broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-7. As for Milan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.
