Softball Recap: Alcoa Tornadoes vs. Oneida Indians
Alcoa had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Oneida Indians onto the board and left with a 17-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for Alcoa, who have now won 19 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Kara Pitts was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Jablonski, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
The victory (which was Alcoa's 16th in a row) raised their record to 32-3. As for Oneida, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
