Baseball Recap: Westmont Takes a Loss

Westmont managed to slip by Hillsdale the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Westmont Warriors came up short against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS on Thursday, falling 12-3. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the FIGHTING KNIGHTS apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Westmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Hines, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Westmont now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Hillsdale, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Westmont will host Milpitas at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Leigh at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
