Recap: Tomball Memorial Wildcats vs. Klein Collins Tigers
There's no place like home for the Tomball Memorial Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 64-54 victory over Klein Collins on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tomball Memorial also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Klein Collins lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Greg Jackson iii, who scored 17 points along with six assists and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Jackson iii posted two or more blocks. Almoni Malone was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Tomball Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Klein Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.
Tomball Memorial will head out on the road to take on Tomball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tomball will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Tomball Memorial is ranked 157th). As for Klein Collins, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m.
