Churchill County won the last time they faced Reed and things went their way on Thursday too. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Churchill County Greenwave made off with a 55-54 victory over the Reed Raiders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greenwave.

Churchill County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Reed, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Churchill County and Pyramid Lake will face off at 8:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Reed, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carson at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
