Basketball Game Preview: Van Nuys Wolves vs. Panorama Pythons

Van Nuys is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Panorama a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The two teams will face off at 3:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Van Nuys ended up a good deal behind Sylmar and lost 74-58.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Panorama). They breezed past Reseda to the tune of 76-23 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pythons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Van Nuys better keep an eye on Billy Classon. He was instrumental in Panorama's win, putting up 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mark Hernandez, who posted 14 points.

Van Nuys' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Panorama, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-6.

Van Nuys was able to grind out a solid victory over Panorama in their previous meeting back in February, winning 52-43. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pythons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
