Littlefield waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Dimmitt Bobcats by a score of 51-44. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Bobcats are ranked 559th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Littlefield is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Dimmitt, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
