Volleyball Recap: St. Ursula Academy's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and St. Ursula Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Colerain Cardinals 3-0 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four matches in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Frietch, who had 16 digs and four assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

St. Ursula Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Colerain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

St. Ursula Academy will take on Olentangy Berlin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Colerain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
